A potent topical therapy for wounds and skin rashes. The antiseptic and antibacterial properties are documented to kill Staphylococcus aureus, the bacteria that is known to cause infections in wounds. Plant pharmacological studies (2006) have shown that Calendula extracts have anti-viral, anti-genotoxic, and anti-inflammatory properties as tested in a lab.

Calendula Infused Oil may also be used for acne, dry or chapped skin, burns, diaper rash, eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis. Calendula's anti-fungal properties make it effective for treating athlete’s foot, ringworm, and jock itch. Because of Calendula's high flavonoid content, according to documented reports, repeated application of the oil can minimize the formation of scar tissue by promoting collagen.
