Oil of Oregano contains phytochemicals that support a healthy microbial environment in the intestines and a healthy immune response.
What is it used for?
Food poisoning, stomach flu, parasitic infections, candida infections, ringworm, eczema, sinus infections, nail fungus, acne, skin infections, insect bites, warts, and allergies.
How does it work?
The Carvacrol in the oil has been shown to be a potent antibacterial against numerous strains of bacteria by destroying the cell membranes of bacteria thereby stopping replication. It certainly appears to reduce infection as effectively as traditional antibiotics without depleting the "good bacteria" in the process.
